Turn a website link into a QR code

Example: https://example.com/menu

  1. Open the destination on your phone first. Check it works without your account being signed in.
  2. Paste the full URL into the Website URL field. Use the exact page you want visitors to reach.
  3. Choose a download format and keep a clear white margin around the code.
  4. Scan the downloaded file and check the address and page before printing.

What happens after a scan

A compatible camera shows a link to open. The destination needs an internet connection. The address stored in a static QR cannot change, but you can update the page at that same address if you control it.

What the code reveals

Anyone with the QR can read the URL. Do not encode private access tokens or personal records. Generating this static code does not add scan tracking; reporting needs separate website analytics.

Using SVG

SVG stores vector shapes, so a designer can resize the code without pixel blur. Use it for print layouts and large signs when your design or print software accepts SVG. Preserve the square proportions and white margin when placing it.
