QR code generator
URL to JPG QR code generator
Paste the full website address you want people to open, including https://. The QR stores that address directly. Download as JPG, then scan the finished design before sharing it.
Turn a website link into a QR code
Example: https://example.com/menu
- Open the destination on your phone first. Check it works without your account being signed in.
- Paste the full URL into the Website URL field. Use the exact page you want visitors to reach.
- Choose a download format and keep a clear white margin around the code.
- Scan the downloaded file and check the address and page before printing.
What happens after a scan
A compatible camera shows a link to open. The destination needs an internet connection. The address stored in a static QR cannot change, but you can update the page at that same address if you control it.
What the code reveals
Anyone with the QR can read the URL. Do not encode private access tokens or personal records. Generating this static code does not add scan tracking; reporting needs separate website analytics.
Using JPG
JPG is a compressed pixel image for workflows that require JPEG. Compression or repeated saving can soften QR edges. Prefer PNG or SVG when accepted, and test the final JPG after it has passed through the intended publishing software.
